Note
In terms of using the bundled riser cable (PCIE3.0) of vertical GPU kit with PCIE 4.0 motherboard and PCIE 4.0 GPU, please follow the steps below to set the BIOS to be compatible.
1. Make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date. If not, update to the latest version is recommended.
2. Install your GPU directly to the motherboard and start it.
3. Enter your BIOS, set the PCIE slot from “Auto” to “Gen 3” (example image below. For more information please read the manual of your motherboard)
4. Save your settings and power off the system.
5. Install the PCIE 3.0 riser cable to the motherboard and GPU, the system should be working.
